Made in Japan in the late 1970's, the SR700 was Yamaha's highest end Stratocaster model available. Genuine Ash body (rather than the Sen or Alder used on the lower end models) wearing an amber brown sunburst finish bolted to a maple neck (13.75" radius, 21 frets), it weighs 3.8kg's. All original except for an upgraded Schecter bridge pickup.
Good overall condition for a 70's build with light wear from general use but no breaks or repairs. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny and smooth with life left, the truss works as it should.
