Made in Japan in 1977, the SL500 features an agathis body with a maple top, set mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, weighs 4.1kg's. Loaded with Yamaha L2 humbuckers and Yamaha branded tuners, this one seems all original (except for a new bone nut) and is nice and tidy with shiny hardware and no major cosmetic blemishes.
Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, the frets have some light play wear but are shiny and smooth, the neck is adjustable and the truss works as it should.
