Made in 1976, the EG-550GS was their seldom seen replica of the Norlin era Les Paul Deluxe. Solid pancake body bolted to a slim 60's style three-piece neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a reasonable 3.9kg's.
Loaded with the original Maxon made mini humbuckers (designed exclusively for these models) that sound absolutely magnificent, the original "goof-strips" are still intact along with the original pickup rings and pickguard.
Cosmetically clean for it's age with a few signs of general wear and tear as pictured. The frets are worn and show some pitting but are shiny with life left and the neck is straight with an adjustable truss. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing.
