Made in Japan in 1976, this was a mid range FST model that aimed to replicate the mid 50's Stratocaster. The catalog lists these as being built with a mahogany body with a "silver heartwood" center block bolted to a hard-maple neck, this one weighs 3.9kg's.
Loaded with aftermarket unbranded pickups and Japanese pots/wiring mounted to a single ply white pickguard (slightly cracked but still solid). Fernandes branded tuners and the original Japanese tremolo system are all working well.
Overall it's in reasonable vintage condition with a few signs of wear and tear. The frets are shiny and play smoothly in the "fretless wonder" style, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
