Made in Japan for only a brief period in the mid 1970's, the Ibanez 2343 was their replica of the Gibson Les Paul Junior DC. The 2343 is a very rare model, especially with the Gibson style open-book headstock that this one wears.

The 2343 features double cutaway selected mahogany body with a faded cherry finish, set medium slim mahogany neck with a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard, this one weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with the original Ibanez Power Wound single coil pickup in the bridge position, tortoise red pickguard and chrome plated bridge-tailpiece along with aftermarket Gibson branded Schaller tuners.

Good vintage condition for it's age with no breaks or repairs and only general wear and tear from 50 years of use. The frets appear original so are fairly low but still play smooth, the truss still has plenty of life and the neck is straight.
