Made in Japan in the late 1960's, the Yamaha AE11 was a full hollowbody jazzbox with a loud, vibrant tone. Double bound maple body (85mm depth) with a spruce top, maple neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length with a zero-fret, 13.75" radius), it weighs 3kg's. Appears to be all original except for an upgraded bridge with Yamaha branded tuners, humbuckers and tailpiece.
Good vintage condition as pictured, has a few bumps and dings from general use over 40 years. The frets are well worn but still shiny and smooth and play well with a straight neck and fully functional truss.
