Made in the USA by Gibson, this is a 1952 model L48 archtop that is a players grade dream. Spruce top, maple back and mahogany sides (only available in 1952) with a Sentell dogear P90 mounted to the top along with volume/tone controls on CTS pots. Received a professional neck reset and partial refinish at some point recently along with the original tailpiece being welded to rebuild it's tuning stability. Aftermarket pickguard and mounting bracket both suit the guitar perfectly.
Players grade condition as pictured with the aforementioned mods and repairs, this has one of the straightest and most playable necks of any vintage archtop our tech Vaughan has ever played. The frets are shiny with plenty of life and there's no bracing or structural issues, ready to play acoustically or pump through some fuzz for some Jack White vibes!
