This guy was used extensively by a touring guitarist over in Japan until his recent retirement. It was apparently his go-to guitar for years on stage and in the studio and shows every moment of it! Set neck (not a bolt on), frets are nice and high and polished. Seems to have been re-fretted professionally recently. Plays beautifully, one of the nicest feeling Les Paul's we've had!
Japanese Gibson-style guitars (like this one) are a great alternative to a modern Gibson/Epiphone. With the hit and miss quality of modern Gibson guitars, a Japanese guitar from the 70's or 80's can prove to be a higher quality instrument that's been played in nicely. Many of these guitars will also cost you a fraction of what a new Gibson will and are also more affordable than a new Epiphone!

As stated above, this is a real players guitar. Back of the neck has been sanded down and is very smooth and fast in the hand. Plenty of dings all over the body. Plays beautifully with a straight neck, truss rod still moves well.
