You'll struggle to find a nicer Les Paul than this old boy for under $1000. Especially in this condition with a hard case! Some vintage guitars feel old and beaten, this guy feels almost factory fresh!
Japanese Gibson-style guitars (like this one) are a great alternative to a modern Gibson/Epiphone. With the hit and miss quality of modern Gibson guitars, a Japanese guitar from the 70's or 80's can prove to be a higher quality instrument that's been played in nicely. Many of these guitars will also cost you a fraction of what a new Gibson will and are also more affordable than a new Epiphone!
Set neck (not a bolt on), frets are nice and high and polished. Seems to have been re-fretted professionally recently.
