The Roland AP-2 Phase 2 was a six-stage phaser released in 1975 that resembled the phaser circuit of the more complex Roland AP-7. The AP-2 was powered by a pair of 9v batteries internally with no external DC option. The AP-2 was produced to emulate the swirling tones of the popular Leslie style cabinets without needing a specialised speaker setup.
The Rate knob adjusts the speed of the phase and the Resonance knob controls the intensity of the effect.
The AP-2 was discontinued when the Boss PH-1 compact phaser was released in 1977.
Great shape. Works well with only very minor signs of wear. Missing 2x feet.
