Boss RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay
Info:The RV-3 was advertised as a "professional-quality pedal that can produce reverb, delay or both". The RV-3 offers four different high-density reverb modes plus three delay modes offering delay times up to 2,000ms. Nowadays, the RV-3 is most popular with post-rock and shoegaze genres due to it's compact size and deep, ambient reverb/delay combinations.
The Balance knob controls the ratio of effect and clean signal, the Tone knob controls the darkness/brightness of the delays or the feedback of the reverb, the R/D Time knob controls the length of the reverb or delay and the 11 way rotary switch selects from the range of presets. Other Info:
The RV-3's reverb actually trails off when the pedal is bypassed, meaning the effect isn't cut off immediately (causing an awkward silence). This was a great inclusion and yet another reason it's so popular.
