Boss LM-2B Bass Limiter
The Boss LM-2B was part of the bass specific series of pedals released in the late 1980's. These five pedals shared the same colour scheme as each other, steering clear of the bright colours that Boss was known for.
With the success of the original LM-2 Limiter in the bass community, Boss saw a need to release a dedicated bass version. The LM-2B operates in a similar fashion to the LM-2 but is tuned specifically for bass frequencies, allowing bass players to compress their tone and control any unwanted peaks or drops in their playing volume.
The LM-2B also features an enhancer circuit to counter the volume drop sometimes experienced on the LM-2.
Produced from April 1990 until December 1994.
