Boss DC-3 Digital Space-D / Digital Dimension
The Boss DC-3 was the successor to the Boss DC-2, however the name is where the similarities end. The DC-3 is a digital chorus with a metallic, synthetic style tone with less vibrato than most other chorus pedals. The DC-3 remains a very subtle, very musical pedal.
The E.Level controls the level of the effect against the dry signal, the EQ controls the high/low frequency boost, the Rate knob controls the speed of the chorus and the Depth knob controls the depth of the wave.
Produced from March 1988 until August 1993.
Digital Dimension - 1988-1989
Digital Space D - 1989 onwards.
The DC-3 isn't the only pedal to have gone under two names and kept the same circuit, the DF-2 also changed names mid-production.
