2003 History Japan (by Fujigen) Z1-CFS HSS Stratocaster (Red)

Made by the Fujigen factory (the place that made Japanese Fender models for over a decade) for distribution by the Shimamura stores in Japan only, History models were mostly high end using exotic woods and quality constructions.

Candy Apple Red with a matching headstock and mint green plastics, features an alder body, maple neck (looks to be a Heritage Series neck with a super accentuated grain) and rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and a 628mm scale length, weighs 3.4kg's Two SS-1 single coil pickups and 5-way selector gives it the classic Strat tone you'd expect while the bridge humbucker and modern slim C neck profile give it a contemporary feel. 

Received a full setup and service prior to listing, plays and sounds good. Neck is straight and the truss is working well, frets have some pitting but were polished and play smooth. Has some dings and bumps as pictured but the finish is still shiny and clear, hardware has some patina but is fully functional.
