1980's Fender (by Maxon Japan) FDS-90 Distortion Vintage Effects Pedal
The Fender FDS-90 was a re-badged Maxon SD-01 produced in Japan in the 1980's.
The Maxon SD-01 Sonic Distortion uses the same JRC4558D as the original 808/Tubescreamer, although these have higher gain and more clarity, less compression, and less midrange than the classic 808 or OD-9.
The distortion is brighter and the treble does not drop, so it loves any pickup configuration!
