1982 Fernandes Japan RMT-50 Mustang (Vintage White)
Made in Japan in 1982 (dated by the serial number on the neck heel), this was likely a store-order RMT-50 that was purchased from Fernandes with what looks to be a factory fitted locking nut and no logo on the headstock. With an aged white finish on a compact solid body bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (610mm scale length), it weighs 3.3kg's. Looks to be all original with Fernandes single coil pickups and traditional Mustang wiring with two 3-way slide switches and a volume/tone knob.
Overall it's in good vintage condition with a few bumps and dings to be seen mostly on the body. Given a restring and basic setup prior to listing, the frets appear original and are in good shape, polished and shiny with plenty of life left. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts freely.
