1984 Greco Japan EGC68-50 Les Paul Custom (Ebony)
Made by the Fujigen factory in early 1984, this is the Greco EGC68-50 '68 reissue Les Paul Custom from the famous "Mint Collection" catalog. Mahogany back with a lightly carved maple top, slim 60's profile mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a surprisingly hefty 4.7kg's.
This one came to us as a shell, so we had a full NOS hardware and electronics (sourced by us from the Tokai warehouse) load-out installed including a pair of Gotoh GB-HBT humbuckers, Gotoh tuners, a Japanese bridge/tailpiece and a all the screws so it's now fully chromed with no signs of the original gold to be seen!
Overall it's in good vintage condition with basic signs of wear from 40 years of use. The frets are shiny with plenty of life left and the truss works as it should, the neck is straight and plays smoothly.
