1978 Greco Japan EG-500 Les Paul Standard (Goldtop Refinish)
Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1978, this Greco EG-500 features a sycamore top with a two-piece mahogany back and three-piece maple neck and weighs just under 4kg's. This one came to us in a very sorry state so we brought it back to life with a professional aged goldtop refinish that matches the cosmetic condition of the rest of the guitar so it doesn't look out of place. Loaded with the original Maxon humbuckers, Greco branded tuners and Japanese hardware.
Given a full teardown and rebuild during the refinish process along with a professional setup and service prior to listing. The frets are shiny with some light pitting but they play smooth as they sit, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should. No breaks or repairs, just cosmetic blemishes as pictured.
