1986 Boss Japan PH-2 Super Phaser Phase Shifter Pedal
The Boss PH-2 Super Phaser was the follow up to the successful Boss PH-1r. The PH-2 provided 12 step phasing and was marketed as their studio quality phase pedal to rival expensive units (such as the Mutron Bi-Phase). The PH-2 was met with mixed reviews, with some finding them to be a very professional addition to their rig and others finding the effect to not sound as natural as the PH-1r.
The Rate knob adjusts the speed of the phase, the Depth knob controls the intensity of the effect and the Res (or Resonance) knob controls the feedback of the phase. There is also a 2 way mode switch to swap between a standard phase tone and a swirling rotating speaker style phase.
Good condition as pictured, works as it should and sounds great.
