1960's Kawai Japan Archtop Three Pickup Vintage Hollowbody Guitar (Natural)
Japanese made in the 1960's, this is a super vibey Kawai hollowbody. Full hollow construction with a maple neck and 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 41mm nut width), it weighs 2.8kg's. Lower bout measures 44cm, the upper bout is 31.5cm and the body is 9cm thick.
Seemingly a higher end model that features a set neck construction, fully functional truss rod, three top mounted pickups (each with their own volume/tone controls) and a 4-way pickup rotary selector.
Good vintage condition as pictured with a few light bumps and dings. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, frets are vintage gauge and are well played but are smooth with life left, neck is straight and the truss works as it should. Some cosmetic checking and wear to the finish on the neck, no structural damage or repairs.
