Boss CE-2B Bass Chorus
The Boss CE-2B was part of the bass specific series of pedals released in the late 1980's. These five pedals shared the same colour scheme as each other, steering clear of the bright colours that Boss was known for.
The CE-2B is popular among both guitar and bass players due to the fact it only adds modulation to the overtones and harmonics and keeps the original note dry. This makes for a more clear sound of the lower frequencies and more bass response.
The Rate knob controls the speed of the chorus, the Depth knob increases the amount of modulation and the Effect Level acts similarly to a clean blend.
Produced from October 1983 until October 1991.
Knobs - Skirted (Japan), Normal (Taiwan).
Made in Japan until 1989, then moved to Taiwan.
