Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble
The Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble is one of the most iconic guitar pedals ever built. First released in 1976, the CE-1 uses the same BBD circuit as the Roland JC-120 to producing great chorus effects in stereo or mono.
The CE-1 features a footswitch for bypass and a separate footswitch to swap between chorus and vibrato modes, along with a Level knob and Chorus Intensity knob (for chorus mode) and a Depth and Rate knob (for vibrato mode).
Unlike many Boss pedals, the CE-1 runs off mains power. This means buying from international sellers can be tricky (especially for the Australian market) and Australian versions are very rare.
