Boss RV-2 Digital Reverb
The Boss RV-2 was the first digital reverb pedal to ever be released, and it still holds up today as one of the easiest to use and best sounding reverb pedals available. The RV-2 features a range of reverb styles including Room, Hall, Plate, Gate and a Panning Delay and also has an on board EQ to tweak the tone before the reverb.
The Effect Level knob controls the level of reverb in the signal, the Pre EQ knob controls the frequencies prior to the reverb, the Time knob controls the length of the reverb/delay and the 6 way Mode selector cycles between the different reverb styles.
Produced from August 1987 until January 1990.
Due to the high current draw of the RV-2, Boss shipped them with a dedicated PSA power supply. This means the original box for the RV-2 was larger then an average Boss box and similar in style to the PSM-5.
