Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz
The FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz was an attempt to modernise the traditional fuzz tones of the 1960's for the 1990's market. The FZ-2 is often compared to the Univox SuperFuzz due to it's tonal and technical similarities and was a very popular choice for grunge and stoner rock.
The Level knob controls the volume, the Tone knobs control the Bass and Treble balance, the Gain knob controls the intensity of the fuzz and the 3 way rotary switch selects betwen Fuzz I, Fuzz II and Gain Boost.
Produced from April 1993 until June 1997.
